Reporting a problem

Including these details gets the issue fixed much faster:

• What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
• Your macOS version and the Verstt version (Verstt → About)
• The export format involved, if the problem appears in a published course
• A screenshot, where the problem is visual

Common questions

Which LMS platforms are supported?

Verstt exports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and cmi5 / xAPI packages, which any conformant LMS can import. It also exports a standalone HTML file that needs no LMS at all.

Where are my courses stored?

Wherever you save them — Verstt writes ordinary .verstt files to the location you choose. There is no cloud storage, and no copy is kept anywhere else.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Authoring, previewing and exporting all work fully offline.

Can I use my own fonts?

Yes. Eight open-licence font families ship with the app, and you can import your own font files — they are embedded into the exported course, so it looks the same for every learner.

Can I move a course to another Mac?

Yes. A .verstt file contains the whole course, including images, audio, video and imported fonts. Copy the file across and open it.
